so i am here

haven't blogged for quite a few days... hehe... partly because i'm lazy. partly because the dial-up speed is just too slow... hehe... anyways unlike many of my friends i will be back in singapore on jan 1st... hopefully i can work as soon as possible. i'm just too excited of working life and earning my own salary... hehez.... i'm sure i'll overspend onez.... yups... my air-tickets have been confirmed... including the back and forth pair during chinese new year... wellz... i guess my first month salary is just enough to pay the air-tickets money.

anywayz... though i'm quite slack i get a few things done these days. i've finished my essays for stanford and harvard and posted them today... so i'm left with cornell, upenn, and financial aid stuff... blehz... i should have applied for financial aid for all unis.... coz anyway my family don't have that astronomical amount of money lol...

and shopping... got new pants... leathered shoes... well i'm not sure that pair of leathered shoes is formal enough, but i like it lolz... the others all look too old to me... haha... going to shop for shirts soon.... and a nokia 3220... so finally i have a coloured screen and camera... the old 8250 is left to my father... and i've got contact lens, though i'm still practising wearing them.... now the time is 15 minutes after 3 days.... haix... i'm not smart at these things...

and sports... hehe.. played table-tennis at my mom's school... hehe... southern yangtze university (the one my mother works for) really got a huge new campus. and played basketball today.... the court was just too dusty lolz... shall go to another place next time.

hehe... yesterday's prom... hope people have enjoyed themselves... and good luck to xuanyou.... by now he has reported to tekong already i guess....

horrible

this is horrible... i can't see my blog even through 'view blog'. even when i actually see my blog using the 'preview' in template, i can't read the comments... hehe.... bleh.... crazy... so i decide to post another entry of the blog on flyingaround.diaryland.com. at least i can see it... hehe... and if anyone wants to leave a note, u can just use the tag-board there... hehe... this will last unitl jan 1st 2005.

home sweet home

finally, i'm back to home again! the familiar foods, the familiar house, the familiar bed. (well it sounds like an irony but i have actually slept more nights on my hostel bed than my home bed). the streets don't look that familiar.... the city's changing fast.

i was really touched when khai qing, shuang ning and an li came to 送我们 at the airport. was more surprised when i knew that they were actually watching out plane taking off!! when the plane was leaving the runway, i wasn't feeling very good... four years... i have to leave my singaporean classmates and friends, i have to part my hostel buddies and chums, to face the cold winter in china. and in fact, i found that i thought a bit differently from my classmates in china, and there seemed to be a 隔膜 building up... maybe it's just a price to pay...

wellz, when the plane touched down in shanghai, i wasn't that sad after all... hehe. always nice to see my parents. home food tastes nice. home bed sleeps sound. hehe. now my blue bed gets a blue bedsheet, blue quilt and blue pillow case!!! and i got a 128m mp3 player cum usb drive (my parents actualy have one each already). and finally i can get to watch the sports channel!!! yeah yeah!!! and my hp no. in china can still be used. not bad. probably i'll get a new phone in the coming days.

to sum up, home sweet home!!! of course i still got my essays to worry about, but for this few days i can still afford to slack a bit.
